The Meloche Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fundraiser was established in November of 2023 in honor and remembrance of one of our beloved, selfless, founding chapter member, Kathy Meloche.  As a 501c3 non-profit organization, The Great Lakes Chapter of ASPMN unanimously agreed to raise funds to promote Kathy's passion for lifelong learning and commitment to excellent care for people experiencing pain.  The monies from this scholarship fund will be used to issue scholarships available to GLC members to obtain certification or towards attendance at the ASPMN national conference.

For those interested, there are a few ways to make a contribution to Kathy’s memorial scholarship fund:

  1. Make a donation here (available to US and Canada)

  2. Access Zelle, a mobile banking app. If your bank or credit union doesn’t offer Zelle yet, you can download the Zelle app to get started.  To donate using Zelle, search using our scholarship email address: MelocheMemorialFund@gmail.com
    1. Please note, the Zelle app requires a person versus organizations name and therefore the immediate notification you receive from Zelle may appear to have made a donation to our immediate past ASPMN-GLC President, Ashley Meyers, and will also indicate the name of the scholarship fund as well. This Zelle transfer is made directly to the Comerica scholarship checking account indicated below.
  3. Make a direct donation to the Meloche Memorial Scholarship Checking at Comerica Bank; checking account number 185343330
